When more and more of you asked for skincare that would be as gentle and trustworthy as our diapers, the
idea for bibilab was born.
We combined Bambiboo's experience with the expertise and laboratory precision of Marta Pawłowska –
cosmetic safety expert, PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and mother of three.
The skin in the diaper area of newborns (especially premature babies) is functionally immature. A
thinner stratum corneum, higher permeability and increased sensitivity to moisture make it easier for the
protective barrier to be disrupted. bibilab by Bambiboo Nappy Cream is based on the
concept of physical skin protection. The system of lipids and waxes it contains forms an
isolating layer on the surface, limiting contact with moisture and potentially irritating
substances. Additionally, the presence of ingredients with sorptive properties, such as rice starch,
helps control the moisture level in the diaper area. This is of key importance in preventing
nappy rash, as excess moisture promotes maceration of the epidermis and weakens its protective
functions.
