When more and more of you started asking for skincare that would be as gentle and trustworthy as our
diapers, the idea for bibilab was born.
We combined our experience as Bambiboo with the expertise and laboratory precision of Marta
Pawłowska – a cosmetic safety expert, PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and mother of three.
At first glance, a newborn's skin may seem soft and well moisturized, but its natural protective barrier
is still developing. During this time, water loss (TEWL) occurs more easily and the lipid barrier is not
yet as effective as in adults. bibilab by Bambiboo Lipid Body Emulsion was developed to
support these processes every day. It combines emollients that replenish skin lipids with
humectants that bind water, helping maintain optimal hydration, reduce moisture loss and
support the maturation of the skin barrier.

permeable, loses water more quickly and its hydrolipid barrier is not yet fully developed.

In infants these cells are more oval, more loosely arranged and less tightly connected, making the skin more permeable to external factors and causing it to lose moisture more quickly, which may lead to dehydration and dryness.
