The quality and safety of the bamboo viscose fiber used in our Bambiboo diapers and pants are certified by CTTC (China Textile Testing and Certification). This certification ensures compliance with the CTTC/CE/GE-002 standard and FZ/T 52006-2006, guaranteeing that our bamboo fiber meets strict safety and quality requirements. By choosing Bambiboo, you are selecting products made with certified, high-quality bamboo viscose, designed for the comfort and well-being of your baby.
The certificate awarded by one of the most demanding institutions in the world, which provides companies with an independent assessment of the renewability of their products. The methodology complies with ASTM D 6866 standards. Depending on the specified percentage share of renewable raw materials (% bio-based), the product is certified as one, two, three, or four stars. After testing and approval by TÜV Austria, our diapers and bamboo fiber pull-ups received a certificate with two stars (approaching ***), while Bambiboo wet wipes were awarded the maximum of four stars.
Certification Classes:
20%-40% bio-based | * OK biobased
40%-60% bio-based | ** OK biobased
60%-80% bio-based | *** OK biobased
80%-100% bio-based | **** OK biobased
The TÜV Austria "OK biobased" certificate perfectly meets the need for independent, high-quality assurances of raw material renewability. Due to increased environmental awareness among customers, the market for products based on renewable raw materials is growing.
Dermatest is another independent institute that checks the safety of diapers, with which we collaborated in implementing the Cottonwear line. Its task is to assess the composition, materials, tolerance, and safety of products that come into contact with the skin. After conducting tests and approval by the institute, products receive certification, and the rating scale is: good, very good, or excellent. Bambiboo Cottonwear diapers and pull-ups are certified as "Original Dermatest" and rated as "excellent," meaning they provide the highest quality and safety for your child's sensitive skin.
