Choosing baby diapers is not easy, especially if your little one has extremely sensitive skin and you want to reduce the negative impact of disposable diapers on the environment. Most often, this is done by trial and error – eventually, you will find diapers that are right for your baby. Naturally good composition and refined design of Bambiboo COTTONWEAR diapers
One of the most important advantages of COTTONWEAR diapers is their composition, i.e. the materials from which they are made. We said to ourselves – this is no time for compromises. Baby diapers come into direct contact with your baby's skin and simply have to be skin-friendly. So we decided to take advantage of the unique relationship between skin and nature.
Bambiboo COTTONWEAR diapers are made from super-soft and highly breathable organic cotton and bio-based materials. The cellulose pulp in the absorbent core is Totally Chlorine Free (TCF), so the risk of irritation is reduced. Pay attention to the type of pulp bleaching when choosing diapers, as it is not easy to find diapers with the TCF pulp bleaching label. The cheaper ECF (Elementary Chlorine Free) option is most commonly used. In addition, the pulp in our diapers is FSC certified, which means that it has been sourced responsibly. In both lines of Bambiboo premium diapers – diapers with organic cotton and diapers with bamboo fiber – we apply the principle of “plant-based materials against the skin.” This is important to us and works perfectly on a baby's bottom.
The top layer (topsheet) and leg cuffs are made of PP and bio-based PE from sugar cane, and the absorbent core is made of completely chlorine-free cellulose and superabsorbent. The bottom layer is made of bio-based PE from sugar cane and PP nonwoven fabric enriched with organic cotton. COTTONWEAR eco-friendly disposable diapers are free from latex, perfumes, dioxins, parabens, phthalates, and lotions.
Importantly, from an environmental point of view, the cotton used to manufacture our baby diapers comes from organic farming. This means that no pesticides, herbicides, insecticides or GMOs are used in its cultivation.
Comfortable disposable cotton diapers
You may be wondering if all these environmental aspects have overshadowed the most important issue for your baby, namely comfort.
Not at all! COTTONWEAR eco-friendly disposable diapers are made using COTTONEO™ technology. They have special channels that not only ensure a feeling of freshness and dryness, but also make the diaper thinner. Carefully selected materials ensure quick absorption and even distribution of moisture, preventing wet diapers and irritation.
Disposable cotton diapers also have elastic wings that allow them to fit perfectly to your little one's body. By folding them properly, you also avoid getting clothes wet. In addition, COTTONWEAR diapers have a moisture indicator so you know when to change them. The cut-out for the navel, which we have used in COTTONWEAR diapers in sizes 1 and 2, also makes caring for your baby much easier.
Why choose eco-friendly disposable diapers?
There is a huge selection of baby diapers on the market – no wonder new parents feel lost when choosing diapers for their child. Questions often arise about what makes eco-friendly disposable diapers so special. Are they worth choosing? Isn't it just eco-hype?

We did not stop at one environmental certification. Our diapers have also received the Blauer Engel (Blue Angel) award. This has been the German federal government's eco-label for over 40 years. It is an independent and reliable label that sets strict standards for environmentally friendly products and services. The shopping guide is the blue (if printed in color) label on the products, i.e., the Blue Angel. You will find the Blauer Engel label on the packaging of our new products—Bambiboo Cottonwear diapers and diaper covers. We are proud of this! The motto of this eco-label is: “Gut für mich.
